2026-03-14 Current version of the lecture notes (v0.1) is avalaible here. The section on association measures is in a very preliminary state; its main purpose at this stage is simply to remind you that we briefly discussed the topic. As mentioned in class, the material is still a work in progress, so any comments or suggestions would be most welcome.
2026-03-14 The first quiz will take place on March 19th: the focus will be on the main concepts covered so far (tabular data, descriptive statistics and basic plots). The questions will be short (typically no more than 2–3 lines each), for example: explaining the difference between the mean and the median, or indicating in which situations one metric might be preferred over the other.
