Projects

Research projects I am or have been involved in, with my actual role in each — no wobbly-dabbly. Ongoing entries first.

PULCO — Predicting speakers' usages in oral French (ANR-22-CE28-0017, 2022–2026)

Role: postdoctoral researcher (2024–2025), now external collaborator. Disentangling the factors at play in the production of linguistic alternatives by L1 French speakers, combining NLP-inspired corpus analyses (ESLO) and experimental data. PI: Juliette Thuilier. Project page.

SMIC — Formal models of Social Meaning and Identity Construction through language (ERC, 2022–2024)

Role: postdoctoral researcher. Built video games to investigate the relationship between sociolinguistic variation and strategic action; experimental design and quantitative analysis throughout. Dir.: Heather Burnett. Project page.
